Tobias Bischof (Tobi)

Tobias Bischof  is entering his forth season as Hofstra’s Women's Soccer Assistant Coach in 2014. In his second year with the Pride, he helped Head Coach Simon Riddiough lead Hofstra to a Colonial Athletic Association Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

In his first year with the Pride, Hofstra went 10-8-0 overall record and a spot in the CAA Tournament in 2011. In his third year, Hofstra went again to the CAA Tournament and had an overall record of 10-6-3. The Pride has posted winning seasons in all of Bischof’s seasons, going 31-23-5 overall.   

Bischof came to Hofstra in 2011 after a decade of prominent involvement in Long Island soccer, particularly at the youth level. Bischof led two U-15 teams - the East Meadow Sparks U-15 Girls and the Massapequa Arsenal U-15 Boys - to State Championships in the New York State Open Cup during the summer of 2011. 

Bischof has also coached the East Meadow Dynamite and Sachem Blazers in the Region 1 Premier League. Overall, he has had tremendous success with his youth programs, leading eight teams to the State Finals between 2006 and 2013 winning 4 State Championships. 

In addition, Bischof has served as the Select PDP program administrator for the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL), a program that included more than 500 players, and has run a select coaching program to prepare athletes for collegiate soccer. He has helped place dozens of his youth players into college programs in his short time on Long Island. 

A native of Winterstein, Germany, Bischof played soccer in his native country after graduating from high school. In 1997 he enrolled at Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena, Germany, where he earned a master’s degree in sports science, finishing in the top 10 percent of his class. He also coached youth soccer in Germany, primarily with 16-17 year olds, before coming to the United States.  

Bischof first moved to Long Island in 2002 to accept a position with Globall Soccer, an International training and management company. He worked with the Long Island Rough Riders of the Premier Development League (PDL) after Globall Soccer purchased the team.


Elizabeth Bowling (Beth)

Elizabeth (Beth) has been a trainer for the Islip Buccaneer summer camp, MPR Training and ISA.  Beth grew up playing in the East Islip Soccer Club until she went to SUNY New Paltz, where she started all four years.  During her junior season they won the SUNYAC conference and made it to the NCAA sweet 16 round. She also made Second-Team All SUNYAC. While in New Paltz, she was a trainer for Coerver Soccer. Prior to her collegiate soccer, she played for Islip High School where they won both the league and county championships back-to-back seasons. During her junior and senior year, in high school, she made the All-Conference team.  Beth also played for multiple premier and tournament teams, such as Prime Time. In 2008 she won the Pat Comiskey Volunteer of the Year Award from the East Islip Soccer Club.

Beth has a degree in Adolescent Education: Mathematics, from SUNY New Paltz 


Courtney Breen

Courtney Breen is entering her second season as an assistant coach with the Hofstra Women's Soccer program.

Breen, who graduated from Hofstra in 2012 with a bachelor of science in physical education, was a member of the Pride women’s soccer team from 2008-11 and served as captain in 2010 and 2011. A two-sport student-athlete, Breen also played for the women’s basketball team during the 2011-12 campaign.

A highly-decorated student-athlete during her soccer career, Breen garnered third team National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) honors in 2010 and was a four-time All-Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) selection. She was a member of the first team in 2009 and 2011 and earned second team honors in 2008 and 2010. Breen also was selected to the CAA All-Rookie team in 2008, and was named to the CAA All-Tournament squad that same season.

Courtney also has extensive training, camps and clinic experience in addition to volunteering her time with the Special Olympics, Holy Family CYO and with the Empire State Games for the Physically Challenged.

During her career with the Pride women’s soccer team, Breen tallied 16 goals and 12 assists for 44 points. She played in 81 games and was a member of the 2010 squad that advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and finished the season with a 19-3 record.


Ed Colgan



Keith Detelj

Keith has been coaching youth for 8 years. He was a two sport athlete (Soccer and Lacrosse) at Division 1 Marist College from 2004-2007, where he holds the record for goals and points. His playing career continues today with PDL (LI Roughriders) and CSL (Greek American Atlas Soccer Club).  They were National Finalists in 2012.

Since 2012 he has been the Head Coach at Nassau Community College Women's Soccer program, which is part of NJCAA

Keith Holds a National Youth License from US Youth Soccer 


Joe DiDomenico

Mr DiDomenico has been training teams and players (5yrs to college levels ) on Long Island for over 20 years. He has served as a head coach in the ENYYSA State program, LIJSL PDP Select program and is head coach of the NY Barrage college womens' summer league team.

Joe has earned NSCAA National and Advanced National Diplomas and played college soccer at Polytechnic Institute of NY. 





Lisa Gozley


Lisa has been coaching for more than 28 years.  During her 12 years of college division 1 coaching experience, she had the privilege of coaching All Americans, World Cup, Olympic and Herman trophy winners. As a club coach she has won multiple State cups, Nerp, and Region1 honors.

Most importantly, she is married for 19 years and is a mother to 12 year old Madison.




Rich Kloska

Rich has coached boys' varsity soccer at Lindenhurst High School since 2003. He was selected as a coach for the Exceptional HS Seniors games in 2010-2011, and led the Long Island Boys Scholastic team to a bronze medal finish at the 2010 Empire State Games.

Kloska is in his third year with the LIJSL Select Player Development Program. He has visited and observed youth development training programs at Bayer Leverkusen, FC Cologne and Ajax.

He currently holds USSF B and USSF Y licenses.  In 2004 he received the Bob McNulty Award from the US Soccer Federation national coaching schools. He is a NSCAA Soccer Ambassador and a member of the SCSCA.


Jennifer Roehrig (Jenny)


Jenny Roehrig has played competitive soccer for over 22 years ranging from Elite Travel Soccer Clubs where she competed in the Regional 1 Premier League for multiple years, was a member of the LIJSL Select Team and for the the NY State ODP Team, was a Division I Collegiate Soccer player at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and played Semi-Pro soccer for the Long Island Lady Riders.

She has been a soccer coach and trainer for the past 10 years and has worked several Soccer Camps all over Long Island and in Massachusetts. Jenny has also trained teams with several of Long Islands Soccer Clubs and is a part of the East Islip Training Staff





Paul Yarde

Yarde has a wide range of coaching experience. A coach and trainer with the Met Oval Brooklyn Knights and the Massapequa Soccer Club, he has also been a member of the Dowling College men's and women's coaching staffs. Yarde personally trains members of the US Youth National Team and in 2009 coached the #1 ranked team in the country in the U12 age group. 

As a youth player he was a three-time MVP of the Notre Dame Football Club, and still holds scoring records for the Barbados Defense Force. He played his college ball at Dowling where he made three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the Final Four in 2001.
